What can I say about this book other than I loved it?
I was irritated (!!!) Calla unexpectedly finds herself without a job and learns her estranged father has cancer on the same day. The characters quickly grew on me. The characters quickly grew on me. New EPUB The Simple Wild: A Novel By K.A. cute.... but if a man told me i looked better without makeup and prevented me from having my luggage he'd get a swift kick to the 'nadsWOW I’M EMO THIS WAS SO GREAT I JUST I’m rating this 5/5 from a purely emotional standpoint, but it’s probs more of a 4 or 4.5 bc I was really annoyed of the love interest pulling some “ girls look better without make-up ” bullshit but the rest of this was perfection and I’m crying in the clubJust finished my reread of this book! I am so glad I purchased this book. Not only was this an entertaining contemporary romance but, as Rachel said, it had depth and substance.
Thankfully, she never comes across as too superficial or annoying. Tucker’s depictions of an Alaskan pilot’s life ring with truth too. What can I say about this book other than I loved it? The Alaskan setting was very accurate, to the best of my knowledge/experience (although I had just a couple of very minor questions…) Calla’s responses to her first experiences in Alaska mirrored so many of my own and brought back many good memories. I would love to read more about those two in the future.After reading The Simple Wild and The Great Alone by Kristin Hannah, I must say I’m hooked on novels set in Alaska. We’d love your help.
