They were made for each other. Not a very deep story or very believable.

The supporting characters were just as important, Rayburn is a darling. They're just that stupid. Not one of her better books.Picked this as part of a reading challenge for a “popular author’s first book.” I was also looking for an easy, light read to distract me during a stressful time. Love’s Encore is a romance novel and was originally published back in the early 1980’s so you have to get yourself in that mindset when you start reading it. The decorator accepts the dream job, not knowing that it's the Prescott family who has commissioned her.
But this is her first novel.
