Surviving are two daughters, Taylor Harris and Brooklyn Harris, both of Kankakee; one grandchild, Sevynn Harris-Penerman; three brothers, James Samuels Jr., of Kankakee, Darren (TiJuana) Samuels, of Minneapolis, Minn., and Randarryl (Alia) Faulkner, of Kankakee; two sisters, Denise (Quincy) Smith, of Chicago, and Tonya Samuels, of Kankakee; along with a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
