The room was shabby with black fluff all over the carpet which clearly hadn't been hoovered before our arrival, and I wasn't convinced that the sheets were fresh on the bed. Very busy but good waiter - consequently slow service! With all of this for £15 base price for food and a drink there's nothing to argue with. Went to Loch Fyne in Nottingham last night for pre theatre meal. The sandy beaches and coastal attractions of Bournemouth are just a 10-minute drive from the building. It looks like the place inherited them from an old venue. The only thing that can be improved is perhaps an inner door if you are in the wrong seat it can be cold and disturb your meal with customers coming in and out. I had 2 courses off the Table d'Hote menu and my husband ate from the main menu. We dined there last week and that meal was not too good either. First, the door from the street opens directly into the dining area so on a cold windy evening this is not a warm place to eat. Staff, as always, were polite and attentive and dealt with us without any delays.
