Anything with Jake Gyllenhaal in is almost always interesting, and well worth watching and this is more than both of those. I had to give this movie 5 stars due to the acting by everybody, especially Jake Gyllenhaal portraying Jeff Bauman.

He always sets the right tone that keeps the movie flowing and as such, he is why I chose to watch this inspiring real story and once again, Jake did not disappoint!!! I would have to suggest this movie to everyone, even if you watch it just once. When Louis Bloom, a con man desperate for work, muscles into the world of L.A. crime journalism, he blurs the line between observer and participant to become the star of his own story.

from what little I've read about the real Jeff Bauman, this movie does a good job.
We learn from the life experiences of others and I really believe that I am stronger for having watched this movie. It was a very interesting look into what happened to Jeff Bauman after the Boston bombing.
It stars Jake Gyllenhaal as Bauman, with Tatiana Maslany, Miranda Richardson, and Clancy Brown in supporting roles. Jake Gyllenhaal performance is OUTSTANDING!

Who can forget that photo of him and "the guy in the cowboy hat"? I'd say a 4.5 stars ...I rounded up. I really wish they would have given more of an idea about how Jeff (and Carlos) are doing now, though there were some pictures at the end.

I highly recommend this film if you haven't see it please do the struggles of man who has his whole life shattered and he has big doubts but in the end he comes throw it and just a truly outstanding film :)
