However, the smaller screens, unmovable arm rests, slightly unkempt seating and occasional technical malfunctions make this place much less desirable for a date night, unless your evening plans involve swinging by Walmart or Bestbuy, this is more of a family friendly theater. This one is big - not sure how many theaters it has but judging by the size of it I'd say plenty. The employees were friendly, the seats comfortable and the movie was good. This huge theater has an equally huge parking lot, friendly employees and many movies to choose from at competitive ticket prices. Book your tickets online in advance! Candy is way over priced for what you can get at any store for $1 you pay $4-5 here, I mean if your already paying close to $11 for a movie that candy price dampers your spirit. The game area is in a room of its own making it more tempting to play a few games. I beeline to the kiosks and have my tickets in a minute. The location is perfect lots of places to shop and eat in the area. No joke. Upselling makes me avoid the concession stand altogether, and I've gotten pretty used to just skipping the snacks because of it. The projection was also rotated about 20 degrees clockwise so you'd have to tilt your head to make the image level--this tilt caused a large portion of the top left of the screen to disappear and also created a distracting shape at the bottom left. Lots of bathrooms, hit or miss with toilets being clean, and plenty of people serving you at concession stand and ticket counter. After you spend enough, you get to "director level" which gives you free refills on regular-sized soda and popcorn, too - just make sure to hold on to that receipt! They sell those for all the big chains (but big surprise, they don't take them at Providence Place. Seats are pretty comfortable and padded. Ask for butter half way tho it will get dry if not. Nice, clean, ample parking and stadium seating. Hate sitting on thin plastic seats for 2hrs always a bummer. Despite all the snow, the parking lot was plowed and I had no problems getting in.
