This LG model compressor is defective and the local appliance repairman refused to service it because of its faulty nature and history of class action lawsuits. I would gladly push this refrigerator to the curb. The Sears techs come out, don't know the issue, and replace almost every part, the part being an "unoriginal" fails again, and again, and they keep charging labor and parts, and coming and repairing the same part. We tried cleaning the coils and is still didn't work. I had to keep calling Sears to confirm the appointment because this indeed was an emergency being with our fairly new refrigerator. i purchased a LG double door refrigerator at Home Depot.
